Cool action on snow and ice

Snow-covered forests and frozen lakes provide the perfect backdrop for adventures in Finnish Lapland. Five motivents groups with between 17 and 38 participants from the telecommunications and IT sectors have experienced cool activities from Rovaniemi to Helsinki. Husky sledging and reindeer trips, riding on an icebreaker in the Baltic Sea and “bathing” in the ice gutter are ever-popular classics. Dinner in an igloo restaurant (built entirely of snow and ice) and a visit to a snow sauna were other cool experiences.

We surprised one group with Porsche Winter Driving, officially announced as just a “workshop”. Instead, the guests were invited to drift on snow and ice with 911 Porsches. Happy faces showed that their dreams had come true. Other employees enjoyed themselves at BMW and Cart driving competitions, and various disciplines from the Winter Olympic Games. For another group, the fun in Lapland ended with an overnight stay in a fabulous ice hotel before they travelled to Helsinki. It was cool until the end, with chilled cocktails amidst the lively nightlife of the Finnish capital.
